Lionel and Vanessa started their collaboration in 2015. They’ve worked together in order to discover, share their experiences, their knowledge, and their enjoyment of dance.
Lionel, born in France, originally from Guadeloupe, grew up around a sports environment and music Caribbean, Afro, Portuguese and Latin and more precisely with a father himself musician and singer.
It was only around the 2000s that he discovered a new passion in Kizomba at a festival in France. In 2013, he represented France in the international competition “AfricaDançar”where he finished 3rd place finalist.
Vanessa, born in Portugal, originally from Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde, has been dancing from a young age, and lives today in France.
Her many skills range from dancers in two different groups of traditional Cape Verde dances, to the accompaniment of artists such as Timmy Dos Santos, Roger Moreira, Suzanna Lubrano and Beto Dias on stage.
She also had the opportunity to represent France in 2011, in the competition “Africadançar”, where she finished 3rd finalist France.
